This evening was the 69th Anniversary since the club started.  Gill Joyce, one of our members gave a talk with a slide presentation about her childhood as she was brought up on St. Michael's Mount.  She also got married on the Mount.



Following her talk, the members enjoyed a cup
of tea or coffee with a  slice of Anniversary
Cake which was made and decorated by the
Chairman, Rose Joynes. 

Gill Brown cut the cake;  she is one of the oldest
members of the club who has been a member of
the club for nearly 40 years, having served on the
committee for many years and has taken on roles
such as chairman, president and treasurer.
